The mother of a man killed in the Orlando shooting has shared the final text messages sent by her son as he was held hostage in the gay nightclub’s bathroom before being shot dead.

The Orlando nightclub gunman, 29-year-old US citizen Omar Mateen, who voiced his allegiance to Islamic State, was able to legally purchase an entire arsenal of guns and perpetrate the massacre despite several FBI interrogations over alleged links to terror suspects.

Widespread reports continue to pour in from all over the nation of “glitches” with the food stamp system. It is eight days into the month and a large number of people still have not received their benefits. Some instances were reported that EBT cards are simply not working correctly.
